MyCard Rebrand FAQs
Will my Credit Card work the same as it does today?
Yes, your Credit Card will continue to operate as it does today, allowing you to make purchases, pay bills and access your funds. Your PIN will not change. Future changes will be communicated to you in writing.
What will happen to my recurring payments?
If you have received a Credit Card with a new expiry date, you will need to change any recurring payments you currently have, after you have activated your new card. You will need to contact your merchants and change your existing recurring payments to your new Credit Card.
If you receive a Credit Card without any changes to the Credit Card number or the expiry date of the card, your account is not impacted.

This is necessary as you will no longer be able to spend or withdraw cash using your physical Suncorp Bank Clear Options Credit Card from 30 October 2025.
If you have any additional cardholders, they will also receive a new MyCard Credit Card and they can activate their card after the primary card is activated first.

Disputing a transaction
Before you dispute a transaction
It's important to query a transaction yourself before you contact us about a dispute. We also advise that you discuss the transaction with your Additional Cardholder, if you have one. Visa have set rules and timelines for the dispute process, which can sometimes take up to 180 days to resolve.
Compare your receipts and statement
Some merchants may have a different name or location than what’s listed on your statement or on Internet Banking. It may help to look at your receipts and see if the amounts charged matches a recent purchase or transaction.
The dates can be different
There can be a delay (sometimes up to 7 days) between when you made the purchase and when it’s posted to your account.
The amount charged shows up differently
This could happen if a purchase is made overseas, or from a merchant that’s located overseas, as the amount may change based on the currency exchange rate for that day. Also, when the purchase is made during public holidays, as some merchants may add surcharges or other transaction fees.
Contact the merchant directly
The merchant may be able to quickly and easily resolve issues like:
- defective or unsatisfactory products
- refunds received from the merchant which have not been processed to your account
- duplicate charges
- differences in amounts on your receipt and statement
- non received goods or services
Disputing a transaction
In order for us to act on your behalf we need you to provide us with all the available information and supporting documentation along with the dispute form signed by the Account holder.
Once we receive the completed dispute form and all supporting documentation we will liaise directly with the merchant's bank to request a copy of the transaction voucher (invoice) if appropriate (charges may apply) or a reversal of the charge.
Dispute cases can take up to a maximum of 180 days depending on the nature of the dispute and it is important for you to stay in contact with us and assist with the case until a resolution is achieved.
It’s important to know that ‘unauthorised transactions’ are charges that a cardholder claims to have never authorised. Suncorp Bank must block your card before pursuing the dispute with the merchant's bank.
